Sulawesi: we are in love with this island!

Sulawesi, also known as Celebes, is the second-largest island in Indonesia after Kalimantan (Borneo). It’s enormous! The island is perfect for nature, culture, and dive enthusiasts. With a diversity of landscapes, jungle, volcanoes, and one of the most beautiful coral walls in the world, Sulawesi is an exceptionally beautiful island. In 4 weeks, you can travel from South to North (or vice versa). We went diving in Bunaken, attended a funeral ritual in Tana Toraja, enjoyed the most beautiful beaches on the Togian Islands, discovered the gem Bangka Island, and were surprised by the beautiful Tentena. And although you’ll still miss a large part of the island, this is more than enough time to conclude that Sulawesi might be the most beautiful island in Indonesia.
