Soepp is not only incredibly delicious, but also tremendously fun to visit.
My vintage heart completely beat here.
As soon as you walk in, you come across a motley collection of the cutest items from yesteryear.
Best of all, most of the items are for sale.
My dream vintage shopping and eating at the same time.
But enough about the cool interior of this Alkmaar hotspot, of course it’s all about soup and the soup is to die for!

My day really starts after a cup of coffee.
At the coffee mill in Alkmaar, you always start your day right with a delicious fresh cup of coffee.
The lunchroom is cozy and green.
Have a delicious pastry with your coffee or choose a good lunch.
Rottiserie IJkgebouw
Totally hipperdepip and still relatively new is Rottiserie IJkgebouw.
Have a drink, breakfast or extensive dinner.
This is the hotspot of Alkmaar.
The restaurant is located in a beautiful monumental building on the edge of the center.
The menu consists of artisanal culinary dishes.
Again, the interior is to die for; a mix of vintage and industrial.
In the summer it is great to enjoy the terrace in the sunshine.
The menu consists of great together.
Fresh
For a responsible lunch or dinner, Vers is the place to be.
If you think you can only order salads here, you’re wrong.
Great burgers are also on the menu.
Don’t have time to dine elaborately.
Then just take your food home with you.
Harvest
Another place for a healthy lunch in Alkmaar is salad bar Harvest.
You can also find poke bowls here which I personally love. Love it!
