Discover the Best Beach House Getaways in the Netherlands
Over the past years, the Netherlands has gained many beach houses. Great for us because there’s nothing like waking up to the sound of waves and ending the day with your feet in the sand during a beautiful sunset. What more do you need? Exactly! Nothing at all. This is truly #thelife!
Not surprisingly, beach houses in the Netherlands are extremely popular. We jave already crossed off a few from the bucket list. In this article, I’ll share my favorite seaside stays and, of course, the beach houses that are still high on the bucket list.
#Strandweelde Beach Houses
Starting with my favorite: the unique beach houses in Strandweelde, part of Camping Zonneweelde. These houses are located on a beautiful, expansive, quiet, and clean beach. Thanks to the giant windows, you always have a breathtaking view, but the icing on the cake is the view from the bedroom. Not only is the location fantastic, but the house is also a unique design by the WTS architects. Every corner and detail has been carefully considered. I even considered taking a house home because I could live here. The beach houses are almost always fully booked, but if you manage to get a spot; DO IT! The location, the design; everything is perfect about this beach house.
#Duynpark het Zwanenwater in Callantsoog
Duynpark het Zwanenwater may not be right on the beach, but it certainly should not be missing from this list. We are truly super fans of this glamping site in the beautiful Callantsoog. From the beach, you can stroll to your beach lodge in just a few minutes, located in the Zwanenwater nature reserve. With the sun high in the sky, this is the perfect place to relax with a beer in your own lounge set. When evening falls, the wood is already ready for you, for a cozy campfire. Inside, the stove is already on for a final drink before crawling into a cozy bedstead.
#Qurios Bloemendaal aan Zee
If you’re looking for beach houses, Qurios always stands out. And that makes us very excited, of course. Recently, we were searching for a cool beach house, and the choice quickly fell on Qurios Bloemendaal. In the end, we stayed for 10 days. That says it all, really. The houses are located in the dunes of Bloemendaal aan Zee, just 200 meters from the beach, and are open all year round. Besides having the beach at your doorstep, the houses are equipped with a lot of comfort, and the surroundings are breathtaking.

#Haagse Beach Houses
The Haagse beach houses are, as far as I know, one of the first sleep-on-the-beach accommodations. The houses are bright, stylishly decorated, and can accommodate up to 4 people. There’s even an option for an extra bed for children, making it 5 for young families.

#BeachHouses Julianadorp aan Zee, Roompot
Roompot’s luxurious beach houses accommodate 4 to 6 persons. From your own Beach House, you can step directly onto the beach. Moreover, the houses are equipped with a wealth of amenities, including a smart TV, kitchen, and 2 bedrooms.

#Largo Beach Houses by Roompot in Kijkduin
Roompot has recently made significant investments in beach houses in the Netherlands, and it’s a good thing because these houses look fantastic. For years, we’ve enjoyed visiting the Roompot campsite in Kijkduin. Not that the campsite is particularly special, but the location is perfect, and dogs are always welcome. The Largo Beach Houses by Roompot are high on our list. You’ll find these beach houses on the Haagse Zuiderstrand B with their own veranda, 2 bedrooms, a small kitchen, and views that make you say HOLY CRAP TARTS.

Hello, panoramic houses of Strandcamping Groede! How fantastic are these houses? Due to their unique design, you feel like you’re literally lying on the beach. Moreover, Groede Beach is one of the cleanest beaches in the Netherlands. Do I need to sea more?

#Beach Villas Hoek van Holland
Think beach houses are small? Well, then you haven’t seen the Beach Villas in Hoek van Holland. Holy Moly, these are gigantic! Also part of Roompot, these houses have 2 floors, and you can easily stay overnight with the whole family. An ideal place to stay on the beach with children.
