Charme Camping Hartje Groen
Greener than green!
Camping Charme Camping Hartje Groen is located in the middle of the Maashorst nature reserve.
This area is about 2400 hectares and extends over the municipalities of Oss, Landerd, Bernheze and Uden.
It is the largest nature reserve in North Brabant.
Trees, streams, lakes and animals, you will find it all here.
At this trendy campsite you can stand among the trees, by the water or on a field. There is something for everyone.
Camping in the middle of nature
For example, you have a family field “Aan de Dreef” for peace seekers and families.
On the field you will find several playground equipment and it is close to the campsite’s forest hut.
Four-legged friends are unfortunately not welcome here.
If you want a shady spot, then Aan de Drift is your place to be!
Prefer the waterfront?
Then De Wijst is a fine place to stand.
There is also a special spot for tent campers – De Horst – located in the woods of the campground.
We were at the very back on a large camping field De Bremweide where you have a lot of sun.
You can also rent a small greenhouse at the Bremweide as a front tent.
Ideal if you travel with a small van or a tent.
So you always have a dry place to stay.
In the Hogelbergbos you can spend the night between the trees.
These places are called Forest Rooms because they offer a lot of privacy.
Not much of a camper?
Then book one of the tiny houses or the group accommodation de Kiet.
You can also book trendy vintage caravans.
Nice.
Cozy drinks at the forest cabin or roasting marshmallows by the campfire
Right at the beginning of the campsite you will find the forest hut.
Here you can go for a delicious breakfast, tasty lunch or a generous serving of local produce.
Brabant sausage rolls, fresh soups and the most delicious pastries.
In the summer you can enjoy the sun on the terrace and in winter you can sit inside by the fireplace.
We also organize regular dinner parties, called table d’hôtes.
So you can enjoy the delicious dishes together at long tables. For campers, you will also find the unique living room “the Heart” in the middle of camping grounds. If it is just a little too cold, you can find a quiet spot here and enjoy, for example, a good book by the fireplace. You will also find several games and lazy armchairs where you can take your moment. And yes you may bring your own snacks and drinks.
An adventure for children
After all, there is nothing like going into nature as a child in search of adventure. At Charme Camping Hartje Groen, this is perfectly possible. At the campground you will find several nature playgrounds where children can go wild. So they can borrow go-karts, play table tennis or go into the nature pond. There is also a cable car that goes over the water. Fantastic anyway. Even for people without children – like us – this is a nice place. The playing fields are expansive and a bit hidden. As a result, you notice little of the crowds. There are also special family fields. This makes Charme camping Hartje Groen a fine place for families and couples.
Get out into nature
From the campsite you can walk or cycle straight into the largest continuous nature reserve in Brabant. At The Forest Lodge, you can borrow several trails. For example, there are special short trails for children, such as Docus the Badger trail. Where children must search for different animals and complete tasks.
